Interesting idea from Dave Winer to personalise news flow. It’s basically a design to slice up the incoming editorial decisions being made on our behalf…It’s a very ‘newpapery’ model for TV news - if this worked for a newspaper, I’d never see a sports section again! I only watch BBC Newsnight via podcast, and I love the editorial flow that I allow myself to be subject to…if I had to deal with US news, I’d cry out for this idea to implemented. As an aside - this quick mockup really explained the idea effectively…sometimes a picture does tell a thousand words etc.
