Philip Jones Griffiths, 1936-2008.
I’m pretty sure his photos, along with Don McCullins’, shocked the hell out of me as a young boy, when I pored through my parent’s photojournalism books. I’ve been a fan of the impossibly romantic ideal of the Magnum war photographer ever since.
